The reason for wanting portrait was so that you could do things with one hand. I hope I'm wrong about this but if I'm not then Nokia is straight up retarted. Who the F thought it would be helpful to have portrait, for one hand use, that is only accessible with both hands? Unbelievable.

Am I wrong? Please tell me I am.
I think the Ctrl+Shift+R thing is mainly so you can test to see how apps would work in portrait mode. Think of it as an Easter Egg rather than a proper feature.

I haven't noticed any difference in battery life, but the long press on blue buttons, is much appreciated. The voicemail addition is cool too.

It is strange that these are functions built into the cheapest of phones and have been there for ages too!

However since upgrade I can't access OVI store, I am greeted with a message telling me to upgrade my phone! has anybody else had this problem?

Yes use the backup app to make a full backup. Then you will need to make a copy of this on your pc. After your upgrade copy the backup file back to your phone then do a restore. This will then ask if you want to re-install all of your previous apps. Simple!

i don't know if it was there before or not but i just found out that when you are using wifi and you open the media player you'll see all the computers connected to it and you can do network sharing from there.
kind of a short cut

flashed my phone (had to.....vodafone are useless) and upgraded to PR1.2 last night. Not really noticing much of a difference to performance.

I can access ovi store again, but there's hardly anything in there. far better off getting apps from this site directly.

has anyone out there had the WOW factor since upgrading to the new OS? any massive changes to the user experience?
