Well, everybody that has phoned them said they were sure the 9th would be it (for UK that is).

I sure hope they ship on monday.

I spoke to a MPD employee today and they are still saying 16th November.

Nokia Uk says 9th, If you want something sooner, you order it directly from the source

I thought they were the same thing. Don't MPD run Nokia retail? How is this different from Nokia UK? I'm pretty sure that they claimed somewhere on their website that they would be the first to get N900s in the country and to dispatch (I can't damn well find the webpage, but they definitely said it).

Just dumped Nokia going with NewEgg.

I wanted to tell Nokia why but I didn't speak the same language as the person taking the call.

1) Nokia didn't tell us the nature of the delays. I'm ok with it being delayed, just send me an email
2) I feel insulted that they would sell it to newegg cheaper than to their own customers
3) price -$150

There are several people in the slickdeals forum saying they got a call from Dell and their orders are shipping Monday. I was lucky enough to snag a Dell order, but I haven't received a call... I wouldn't think Dell would have phones before Newegg... hmm
