I started the day at 8am with 97%

this is what i've done:
- 3g connection
- switch to wifi at 930am
- web browsing 30mins
- HAM downloads 20mb on a slow wifi connection
- 2 manual reboots
- 15 emails using nokia messaging
- 25 IMs on OVI
- 8 sms
- fiddling with the 2 new donloaded apps

Battery now at 70% at 11:20 am

I think its pretty good so far

hi there, the vfs cache pressure changing from 10 to 100 and backwords is really cool. congrats Karam. I have one question. When ever I have an outbound or inbound call, thus the phone being next to my ear, the screen goes dim due to the light sensor, thus the vfs cache pressure drops to 100. Wouldn't it be perfect for the vfs pressure to get stuck to 100 during calls?

i just followed the instructions in the post on pg 1. try this Trisha, install htop and see what is consuming your power. do you have the power saving option in setting enabled?

In my case, yesterday night I posted here my first impressions. I was at 80% at 11pm, or so (allright, my device, not me ).
I posted via Opera Mobile on the N900. It dropped to 77% or so in 10 minutes. At 12 (maybe later) my device showed a 68% or so when I went to sleep. Maybe something in my web browsing caused it. As carlon said, those of you who don't see any improvements watch your processes and try to leave the phone untouched (the most you can) just to check if battery lasts longer. If you get this, then you could test different usages or just assume that the way you use the phone drains battery.
I don't see anything more that can be said here.

Trisha... this might not be relevant but what is your screen brightness set to?
I noticed an improvement when I reduced my to level 2.
