If this still does not help, I can build version between original and cssu1, also between cssu1 and cssu2. (cssu3 and cssu4 contains only one patch).
I remember doing apt-get upgrade from cssu-devel on December 17th 2012 and got the "ringtone problem". Then I thought that the cause is profile package, but actually it was pulseaudio. At that time the latest in cssu-devel was 0.9.15-1maemo44+0m5+0cssu2 so the problem started between the cssu1 and cssu2 builds...
Hope this info helps...

Ok, I will build all PA versions between cssu1 and cssu2 per git commit.

Who is ready for testing?

I can do the testing, tell me where to find the .deb and I'll test. Hopefully, we can track down this issue.

Thanks for proposing to build all packages… big work !

@dcaliste: now you can test released cssu packages:
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=1422

and then wait until I build per commit versions between cssu1 and cssu2

I confirm that issue is not present with cssu1 but appears with cssu2 and cssu4 (didn't test latest version cssu5).

I've tried the cssu1+1 package you created recently and it's failing also.

Procedure for tests, in case I do it wrong:
- download all *pulse*.deb packages for various versions ;
- dpkg -i *pulse*cssu1+1*.deb for instance
- reboot
- call my cellphone from a fix one and listen to the ring tone -> wrong one
- dpkg -i *pulse*cssu1_armel.deb
- reboot
- call my cellphone again -> correct one.

@dcaliste: Thank you very much for testing. It looks like that problem is in patch which adding compatibility with upstream pulseaudio version.

Can somebody else test if cssu1 version working and cssu1+1 not?

Just tested and I can confirm it. All intermediate versions (1+1;1+2;1+3) played a default ringtone Nokia Tune on an incoming call after installing that version and reboot while the "plain" cssu1 played at the same procedure my selected ringtone.
Thank you for your continuing support Pali
