Were you running fullscreen?
I just tried it on my n900 and didn't see it so I'll have to wait till tonight to experiment with it. In the mean time I'd be curious if your log says anything.

My Log file is pretty long. If I delete it, will it just create a new log?

I deleted the log, then ran DialCentral. Selected "about" to freeze screen and cause lockup. Needed to reboot. When viewing log, there were no errors. I assume log is saved upon exit. Since no exit, the error was not saved.
