Still can't purchase it, however on Sygic store it looks like you won't be able to buy a full Western Europe map if you choose Maemo, and that's a big disappointment to me. You can buy it for Windows Mobile, iPhone, Symbian and Android, but for Maemo you must buy individual European maps.
I hope this will be addressed when the product is available for purchase, but I have a really bad feeling about it

Yeah, I also noticed that.. I travel all over europe all the time, so if they don't offer me the possibility to buy all of europe at a reasonable price I don't have much incentive to buy. For the nokia n95 it is 80 euros for the whole of europe which is not cheap but acceptable from my point of view.

Dear sir,
European maps has to be split due to application size restrictions on the Maemo platform. On the other hand, it is not a problem to use more packages at once – you will be able to navigate from Sweden to Italy without any problem for example.
Thank you for contacting support and your interest in our products!

thanks for writing them, but it's still not quite clear to me if the "split" is only of a technical nature (as in, you pay for Europe and download the maps indivdually), or if it's a business thing, meaning you have to buy the maps individually?

I got an email from Sygic regarding the maps:
