hey, i live in new zealand. anyone trying to get rid of their n900 coz they dont like it? ill do you a trade, my iphone 3gs for your n900 haha.

That's disappointing, I mean, the Nokia. You could clearly see that your N900 will slow down significantly if you upgrade it from the OVI suite, there is no MMS app in the OVI store, and most of the required apps are not even available in it. Furthermore, the OVI suite cannot perform very well (to its potential) with a N900 connected.

To summarize it I should say, N900 is not performing very well as a smartphone or as an ecosystem, but it rules in the pocket sized tablet computing, Linux and open source programming (i.e.: an opportunity to program innovative apps, NOT patent apps) and that more than enough for me.
EDIT:If you need a good "phone", then N900 is not going to be your first choice.

My n900 should be in the graveyard - after being dropped more than 10 times - the only injury a slight crack in the screen. This is a solid phone! The best device in my device history. To all those who whine about missing features - this device does more than your average phone if you know how to use it properly.
