How exactly does it make them unstable? No, it's not the app, I'm sure of that as both have no idea it's even there.
The 5800 had a button, not a sensor.

Got -devel enabled?
@ NightShift79, it should compile fine under Windows I guess, but I've never tried to package anything under windows. Regardless, if you get the mediabar binary, just replace the one in /opt/mediabar/ (no .deb necessary, actually the deb will lack certain things when done with Qt Creator - so again, just replace the binary)
