As long as it haz moar pogo-pins on the back, I am happy.

Pogo-pin wishlist:
-I2C (all pins 3.3V)
-Audio out
-3.7 V in
-USB (OTG obviously)

It has been very unofficially confirmed I will not be out of a job if/when J2 arrives, so that is something.

Also microhdmi.
Jolla would be wise to bring out more than one version.
One with a physical keyboard, like N900.
There are tons of people dying for a decent keybaord. Jolla would be really unlike.
If not, I really expect an explanation why they don't. Or they will lose a lot of goodwill from my side.

I guess there are three reasons for not doing it:

- It simply isn't enough to just have a keyboard, it has to be a good quality design with high quality manufacturing process, qa and materials. This increases the cost of doing it. Which leads to the fact that...

- ...Jolla is still a small company with small customer base, so they will have to prioritize much more than average OEMs.

- To get bigger user base they need a device that is good also for mainstream. Dividing limited resources on doing two phones at the same time in addition of supporting old device may be too much for them to handle.

On the other hand, it might be a viable option to just create next Jolla device with keyboard (something like keboard version of "N9" would be nice!!!) to reach for the forgotten users who actually loved those Communicator/N900/N950-type devices. I'd prefer those, even though there is a risk that it might result the public image of Jolla to become even more"nerds only", which they really don't want in the long run.

Here's an idea: 802.11ac support.

Only if the chipset supports it by default. Else, not really. There's not enough people with an ac router yet. Our router is just over a year old and doesn't even support the 5 GHz band, let alone ac.

I'm hoping for:
  • IP67 protection
  • Better loudspeaker (and better microphone)
  • At least 720p Screen (OLED, better sunlight readability, between 4.5 and 5", less bezel)
  • Better main camera (resolution of 8MP is enough, but it should definitely have a bigger sensor and better optics)
  • 2GB RAM (for even better multitasking performance)

I still don't get what's up with all this camera craze on phones. Yes, some phones have good cameras but no phone camera could ever come close to a DSLR. Which is why I use my DSLR most of the time.

A DSLR doesn't fit into my pocket So the phone-cam should be as good as possible... The camera doesn't need to be as good as the cam in the 808 (which is amazing and still fits in the pocket, let alone the dslr), but it would be great if it would come a little closer to it.
