saddest part is, when something is true, people feel offended. If someone makes a joke about Dubai is so poor, noone cares because they know they are not. But if it is Nigeria, oh hell yeah all of a sudden it's a disaster. Whats next?? if we DONT joke about them, they feel offended because they get the feeling that people think you should not joke about them because they are a third world country or some other made up fantasy why they are being left out.

Try to blame me for not being able to take a joke. but really we don't have to go that route. every country in the world has got a sore spot. And there is no need to victimize its citizen just because of it. I made a post about how my N900 pre-order was canceled installed I had **jokes** poked at me because of where am from. It doesnt make any sense IMHO. If this is becomes the pattern of interaction in maemo.org. Then we have indeed lost a community.
