I have done only one:
apt-get install libqt4-phonon

And I think that's blocking my update. So could somebody tell the commands how to remove that (and I don't need that anymore because now it's coming with the application itself)?

Ever thankful for help

I updated my N900 first thing this morning and now I feel that the device has slowed down noticeably. Previous update made things snappier to me but now I feel things have taken a step back.

Scrolling seems to be less intuitive than before, especially when viewing pic thumbnails. Also closing applications takes longer than ever before and animations like when opening and switching between apps is not as smooth anymore.

The update itself went without hiccups and I have rebooted a couple times without things getting better. I have not installed any devel- or testing repos or programs.

I'd like to hear if you have noticed any differences in the UI.

Heh! My problem is my own impatience and an annoying little thing called work. I'd really, really like to take the new firmware out with me today - but I can't afford to do a d/l like that over GSM... so if it doesn't arrive before about 9am when I depart this wifi it will be this evening.

How the heck did you find out which server you're on??
