just use blur.. then overlap, blur, overlap blur.. then u get those effect like mine.. =)

aha! thanks for that, i'll have a go and see what i can turn up
btw, i tried copying tone's new brushes into my /home/user/.mypaint/brushes folder and i've chmod'd the entire folder, but in mypaint's brush selection screen, all of tone's brushes turn up in the default folder
how do i get them all into a separate tone folder?

Have you also chmodded inside .mypaint/brushes/..
order.conf and order_default.conf -files?
I am not sure... but this should be help...
I am currently deleted all the "other brushes" from /opt.

i'm also finding it amazing to have such a great sketchpad on the go ... although people tend to stare if you try and draw them on the tube ...
