keeping vfs at 100 while standby will give you sh|t standby time
with 10 i got 3 days of standby
i'm testing vfs @1000 while continues usage
seems giving me more life time
test it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes. I use about 3-4 batteries a day. So I have rebooted many times.

I have also tried to killall hildon-status-menu but nothing :'(

vfs of 10 increased my battery time as well quite a bit not like others have reported but definitely better.

hey im using the first version of the default profile. its .working nice but i check swappolube and the vfs cache is 100. so i should change it to 10 right? any other setting or just change it to 10 in swappolube?

one more thing. karam the default profile works well for me i think. should i download your patch and copy the ideal settings to my default profile n use it? are the settings normal in the first post/

i dont know how to say this but it happened to me, good thing i got back-up menu if you copy transitions.ini in karams patch and replace the one you have (/usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini) after you install the portrait hildon by arcean you'll get a reboot loop.

i use hildon-potrait and i use karam's transitions
and i don't have a reboot loop
please make sure of your info again
