Thanks again Pycage, I just got the lastest version (525) and it's just fine, along with the FM radio icons

Un27Pee, that's how to create your (video/audio/pictures) library :

1. Use the browser (the one you call "main folder") to reach a folder you want to add to your library
2. Click on the round icon, so it shows 2 icons including a "+" that means "add to library"
3. Switch to "library" view to manage your folders (you can make them movie/music/pictures folders or delete them)

Well, I have an diablo kernel flashed with your patch but I'm not in Japan so I don't know if that counts as a proper test...

Also try deleting "components/mediascanner" completely before checking out again. Maybe you got some SVN conflict in there.
Deleting "mediascanner" did the trick, so it really had been a SVN conflict.

Ok, I built an diablo kernel with your Japanese radio frequencies patch and switched the mode in settings and restarted. The frequencies display in mediabox changed from the norm for Europe to the Japanese 76 MHz to 90 MHz.

This is London though, and all I got was static.

I don't know if just static occurs without the patch so therefore I couldn't verify if mediabox actually changed the frequencies though as no kernel output is given when done so. I'll do a quick mod of the patch that does a printk if the frequencies are changed tomorrow.

But I was getting different types of static while scanning, so it is probably working.

BTW: I uploaded subversion into diablo extras-devel for the purpose of exporting this . Maybe it will make it easier for others to test this too.

Anyway, *really* nice program. Loving the SVN version even more, thanks!

This sounds good.

This sounds like it's working. The patch itself has already been tested in Japan last year and the tester was able to tune in Japanese stations. Together with your description, I assume it works well in MediaBox, too. Thanks for your help!

I downloaded the latest from SVN and I must say it is very impressive. However I am noticing a problem - it does not show thumbnails for all the videos that I have - it only shows for some - and not for the others. It does not show any thumbnails for YouTube videos either. The same video files display thumbnails properly using the v0.95 release

Is this a known problem ?

Do you mean that the thumbnails stay black?
