Just a hint, you can expose the style in an external file, one you could read when starting the program, and allow users to customize it.

I do that already. its in /opt/SleepAnalyser/.
maybe I should move it into the users folder or better use the one there with higher priority.

Last night I had very minimal battery drain of only 3% over 7hrs! So right now it does look I am enjoying good battery life with SleepAnalyser!
