extendedping: The next version will also have support for pre-close scripts, the same as the post-open scripts:
Place any (Maemo) commands you wish to run before you close the chroot into the /var/run/onclosechroot-ext.rc file (inside your rootfs),
Place any commands you wish to run from inside the chroot before you close the chroot into the /var/run/onclosechroot.rc file (inside your rootfs)

Now I have discovered that there is an alternative GUI for maxima, wxmaxima, which has the advantage that it also runs nicely with debbie and is much more convenient to use. It can be installed from lenny-backports by
Maxima commands are executed by Shift+Return, provided one has selected "Enter evaluates cells" in the configure menu and xbindkeys is running (the "Set Deb HW Keys" icon). If the configure menu is too much scrambled under debbie, you can also do it from LXDE.Code:apt-get -t lenny-backports install wxmaxima

When running xcadabra (or xmaxima) I need to use curly brackets to make
tensors (i.e. A_{a,b}). Fortunately, in LDXE it works fine because I have xbindkeys [...]
Any idea how to fix this?

I posted this issue in this thread because i can imagine the error might be depending on a newer version of easy-debian. Is ist also possible that there are missing packages?
maxima 5.13.0-3.1 xmaxima 5.13.0-3.1 wxmaxima 0.8.2-1~bpo50+1

Probably there are other solutions...
