Please see the first post on the help/tutorial thread. You can disable the RD mode flashing.
You leave it in RD mode permanently. I've been in RD mode for more than a month.

No need to PC.

Change "sleep_ind 1" to "sleep_ind 0".

Erm... I think the Eclair rootfs is corrupt =/ It downloads as 243.3KB and doesn't extract

Just to point out to some people, nano is an editor so it may not be installed, leafpad, vim or any similar will do also.

Although nano is my personal favorite.

Edit: DJ_Steve & e-yes, I have uploaded the files you guys need from Android.
e-yes, do you want the files from /system/app/*? (this is not the location for apps installed from MarketPlace)
