Yesterday about 3:30. They must have been in the process of removing them. Tried this morning and the UK Nokia site says the N900 is unavailable to order, even with no codes. What a muppet emailing them! DOH!

It is a shame that the offer went but it was inevitable. Whether the email to Nokia triggered it or not is just conjecture. I think the sudden spike of people buying N900 using codes may have peeked Nokias interest. That being said I think they will honor the price of those who already bought otherwise they wouldn't have tried so swiftly to remove the code bug and simply have stated at a later date that using multiple codes is a violation.

Anyhow for those who don't have a contract the mobilephonesdirect deal is pretty sweet since the phone is already unlocked supposedly (confirmed earlier in the thread and also by a convo I had with them). With the 34.26 a month deal with t-mobile it comes out at 616.68 pounds. With all the Nokia codes the best price for the N900 was 255 pounds. So you have 361.68 left for a contract. The t-mobile solo with unlimited internet is 20 pounds a month that comes to 360 pounds over an 18 month period. So all in all you pay an extra 1.68 pounds p.a for a contract which offer you an extra 100 mins a month. Plus you don't pay for handset upfront. Of course you are tied in for 18 months but nothing is ever free. Obviously for those in contract this is no good but for people without it should be fine.

Dude I seem to be able to order it. Fair enough none of the codes work.

Sorry chaps and chappets if I alerted them.

We all knew it was too good to be true, so it would have happened eventually.

I hope that the few lucky ones who got there orders in at that price have them honoured.

I suspect though with it being on several websites and confirmed by Nokia, the number of orders would have been overwhelming.

Actually just did a quick search, it was on nokiausers.net, my-symbian, hotukdeals, AVForums, overclockers.co.uk. So I think they would have to be blind to miss the hundreds of orders and of course it would have run out today anyways.

Yea I believe you can still get the 10% cashback. Also if you get a contract from MPD through topcashback you get 30 pounds. not great but still better than nothing.

I must admit I'm picking up my n900 for £379, i thought it was quite a bargain. It's already tracking nicely on quidco too. You guys think it was a good deal?

So I guess I was the last one to get it or one of the last.

Thank you all for sharing this info in this forum.
