STEMFOUR!!

Ignore the coming soon page,
I've pre ordered my N900 through the nokia store in regent street (by Phone) as an upgrade on vodafone for £90, which I didn't think was too bad, £35 a month

Likewise - my current Vodafone contract ended on October 24th. I ordered my N900 from MPD on the 25th as an upgrade. Up front cost was 73 GBP on a 35 GBP per month 18 month contract. Don't leave off ordering one just because you can't get it from Vodafone.

Actually, do leave off ordering one, that way I might get mine quicker...

You think that's bad? They stole a 2k watch when they couldn't deliver when I wasn't at home

Was going to order mine for MPD too but they took the upgrade option off their web site about a week before my upgrade (17 November)

Why upgrade if it's 70-90 upfront and £35 a month for 18 months? When I ordered from MPD I got it free on £30 a month for 18 months. Surely they haven't got that much worse, and an upgrade ought to be cheaper, no?

Lack off Customer loyalty, they're more interested in getting in new customers rather than looking after and keeping present costomers

Was "left if somewhere else" back at the depot?

Surely you can't expect them to leave it somewhere else. If everyone did that then they'd never finish. Anyone could put the sign there (unless it was on the inside of the window). You could claim you never signed for it and they stole it, the driver would be in all sorts of trouble. Personally if I was the driver, to cover my back I'd put it back on the van.

Anyhow, please send me a dispatch email tomorrow Nokia.

Me too! Ordered in september on MPD - Vodafone. £30 per month - free fone, unlimited data/texts - sounds like they changed it

I've also ordered off MPD on vodafone.

2 year contract, 25+ web, 300 mins +unlimited text, 13 quid up front.

I'm on voda now on an e90 and my contract is ending on 24th dec so I'm going to get my pac code, bounce the number over to a orange sim for a week then bounce it back to voda on my N900.

No. I have a notice saying 'Please take parcels to the wool shop for collection/ signing' - the lady there is authorised to sign for me. Instead they left it at the charity shop, which has different volunteers daily who are not authorised to sign for me. Added to which the shop is only open 10-4 and I work 9-5. The lady at the wool shop lives over the shop, so I can collect even if I work late (or she'll drop stuff round and stop for a cuppa). The charity shop is locked over night.

No-one else has ever complained that taking parcels to the wool shop is a problem. Had they taken it back to the depot, I could have rung and told them to deliver it to the wool shop the next day. Leaving it at the Charity shop was a nightmare. Not to mention that they always moan and complain about it.
