I recived this email. It made me more angry as they did not answer my question to why I was told they had stock and this will only delay things by one day. Its almost as if they did not read my messgae saying my order was cancelled.

Merely as a datapoint - ordered the 20th Oct, order was not cancelled, and UPS says my n900 has just left barking, and is scheduled for delivery on the 30th.
(total of 271 quid for n900 and battery when discounts come throug)

Topcashback are offering 12% plus a discount code, but the discount code that they offer excludes the N900, soz.

Tell me about it. I called up/emailed and asked them why the delay. I had a pretty good idea that it was the battery I ordered, which was out of stock. They assured me that it wasn't the reason. Funny thing is, as soon as I got the shipping email I checked the battery stock and suprise suprise it was now in stock. Others on here also came to a similar conclusion. Emailed again to express my disatisfaction so will see if further up the chain of command things improve comms wise. Meantime got a weekend to obsess over whether the N900 I resieve will be faulty or not.

Dont get me wrong the CS reps are courteous enough they just dont provide accurate info. Which in the end may not be completely their fault.
