it's been stated before, the maemo browser won't help you - but other browsers oin the device work fine - i'm happy to use a pc for now, and use the ovi store on my phone when it's finally up and open

I confirm that it's not possible to view the Ovi store from the N900's built-in browser.

About half of the Ovi Store-to-N900 process works. That's intriguing. Using my desktop computer and Firefox, I can log into Ovi Store. On the "Account" page, I identified my phone as the N900 and typed in my mobile phone number. Ovi Store sent me an SMS, asking me to confirm my phone number. I confirmed by clicking on the URL in the text message.

At Ovi Store, I tried sending the "Snow Globe Touch" application to my N900. Ovi Store sent me another SMS announcing, "talmage has shared Snow Globe Touch with you." along with the URL of the application. Alas, this is where Ovi Store failed. When I clicked on the link, all I got was the "Ovi Store is currently not available for your device." page.

Can anyone running fennec try this - I am away from my N900 at the moment but will try it when I get back to it,

Interesting. I don't see the N900 in the list of phones when I select one from the Ovi Store account page. I have to use the link posted somewhere above in the forum to activate the N900 for my account.

I did the same. Just a different application.

Just a few more days since Nokia is saying Ovi Store for N900 will be "Live" by end of this month which gives them just a few more days. I just think we are gonna be shafted again by one of two things or maybe both:

1) A delay in Ovi Store going "Live" since Nokia's middle name is "Dee-Lay"

2) Ovi Store being short of cool, or amazing, or awesome apps. I think it's gonna have a bunch of junk and only reason Ovi Store goes live is just to quiet us all for a few more weeks or months.

Again I love this N900 but I can only show off soo much with the lack of any amazing apps or games.

Who promised Ovi store full of awesome apps?
I want to be able to synchronize my N900 with all Ovi services, and to be able to use them via my phone. Awesome apps will come sooner or later, Nokia surely is not going to make them. Developers will.

Install liqflow - nearest thing to a snow globe, and touch responsive too. Enjoy!
