What about the real application names? How did you accomplish to get those right and with the right locale too?

For example the Phone application name is some strange osso -name. I guess the names by locale are stored somewhere?

To get the application name I use gettext, but before you have to call textdomain by passing the X-Text-Domain value (if it's available).

Thanks! I try to look into that.

The problem is that I'm programming my app in QT C++ and I haven't found anything similar to textdomain.

I'm also having problems in launching some apps in N900, like the Calendar application. It's a real pain trying to figure out how to launch apps with QProcess...

Well I just have to continue googling and searching forums.

Not sure what picture you are talking about. The phone has been rebooted a number of times since then.

I click it and nothing happens??

He is referring to the picture on this post (I suppose).
So, if you use the camera shutter the dialog comes up ?

No, that PIC is not what happens to me.

I have camk running, so if I "touch" the shutter, I go to the dashboard.

Just as a side note. I had heavily customized my systemui menu and this QL addition screwed it up somewhat. I'm going to edit out the entry, especially since it does nothing on my N900. Perhaps an option of using or not using that menu entry could be made as an option in the setup dialog.

Doesn't work on mine too...But I think that there should be an option too turn it off from the power menu...

@les_garten: the addition of the quick-launch icon on the powerkey menu is done by simply adding a file (quicklaunch.xml) on the systemui directory (/etct/systemui/), so removing it will restore everything back.

BTW I also think an option on the control-panel applet to enable/disable the presence on the powerkey menu is more than useful.
I'll implement it asap.

Really strange, I've fixed it and it works correctly for me, only when I open the camera shutter the dialog comes up.
Someone else could confirm this ?

I have also a problem with the button behind the power button. It is there but when I click it nothing happens (the power button menu just closes).

And yes, I have rebooted.
