Steve,
If you don't mind, just to make sure I am doing the right thing.

I open the file and see this:
ITEM_NAME="NITdroid on MMCp2 - 2.6.28.NIT.05"
ITEM_KERNEL=2.6.28.NIT.05
ITEM_MODULES=ext3 fat vfat
ITEM_DEVICE=${EXT_CARD}p2
ITEM_FSTYPE=ext3
ITEM_FSOPTIONS=rw,noatime,errors=remount-ro,commit=3

I can change all of what is highlighted in red to anything I like?

Thanks mate, all sorted in that area.

With power kernel issue (in boot menu though not loading) I noticed I have no file in the /boot/multiboot/ folder. Could this be the issue, if so, can you tell me how to get it there?

Under /boot I have the following files:
multiboot (folder)
vmlinuz-2.6.28-omap1

Under /boot/multiboot/ I have the following files:
vmlinuz-2.6.28-omap1
vmlinuz-2.6.28-NIT.05

Under /etc/multiboot.d/ I have the following files:
Maemo-2.6.28-omap1.item
Maemo-2.6.28.1-Opower37.item
NITdroid-2.6.28.NIT.05.item

bearing in mind i cant read that it looks to stop just after led init - in which case you need to boot maemo and mount android partition the reinstall the nit.05 kernel

LMAO, funny man.

I did as your thread said mate and have done the following with the slight change of placing the files in a folder "NITDroid". I didn't think that would matter though maybe it?

cd /home/user/MyDocs/NITDroid
wget http://downloads.nitdroid.com/Jay-c/...power37.tar.gz
cd /
tar xzvf /home/user/MyDocs/NITDroid/multiboot-power37.tar.gz

The fact that what looks to be the power 37 file in /etc/multiboot.d/ folder makes me think something happened just not sure what or how to correct it.

Under /etc/multiboot.d/ I have the following files:
Maemo-2.6.28-omap1.item
Maemo-2.6.28.1-Opower37.item
NITdroid-2.6.28.NIT.05.item

Hey dj_steve - about the GPU acceleration:

Isn't there a way to get support from the android dev forum for drivers (or whatever you need for it to work) and instruction on how to implement these features?
I'm betting official android support costs money though.

OK,
I rebooted and then Multiboot menu loaded perfectly as did previously. Only the 3 options now and named as changed, many thanks.
I tried the option 2, power kernel. It flashes a screen in the blink of the eye. Goes back to the boot menu and then freezes and reboots.
I checked the NITDroid, loads perfectly, I then went back to Maemo and nearly @#%^&( my pants !
Started to load as if NITDroid (all the text started runing) then crashes and reboots. Second go it loaded like normal, thank godddd.
