Any screenshots of the current condition of the application? I really have no idea how to compile application source and stuff like that so I'd be grateful to see how the application itself looks before starting working on icon set.

I need even more help!

I need some developers to
- take the source
- make a git repository
(preferable as part of MohammadAG's CSSU repository)
- make a package which can be included in the CSSU
- maintain the package
- use maemo-invoker for the application start
(currently camera-ui2 is an executable, whereas nokias
applications are shared libraries loaded and started
by maemo-invoker)

I don't want to stop developing this, but I can not do
all of the above mentioned alone.

No need to compile it, the binary is in the first post.

https://gitorious.org/community-ssu/camera-ui

I'll upload the source to there in a bit, just need to change camera-ui2 to camera-ui.

You have a gitorious account right?

Edit: oh and just a thought, since you cloned the UI and had this planned as a replacement, why not just use the stock icon?

The app-icon?
This can be deleted, I made this only to distinguish
my app from the original one.

Added you as a committer and reviewer, you can push changes directly to the gitorious repo.

Mind you, the source there builds a camera-ui binary and a camera-ui debian package which will replace the stock package.

i agree with MAG... just use same icons from stock camera... and only ask for design for the new one you implemented in UI

I pushed a quick change to the repo to change the DBus names since the icon in the menu didn't work anymore (obviously).

Maybe you could add an about dialog for the CSSU release?
Also, just a quick question for users, would anyone be annoyed that the tag feature is missing? It's still there in the image-viewer.
