I assume this happened here too. After my reflash, i still use original busybox so if you want me to do some tests...

Basically, if you can install kp49 + latest testing CSSU, and perform several reboots (by using "reboot" command in console, *not* reboot button in power-key menu), that would be good start.

Then, performing same tests *after* installing busybox-power (together with mentioned kp49 and CSSU) should be "ultimate" test. Of course, there are still possibilities, that something else act as catalysis for bug, but I think that simple test-before, test-after would be sufficient for now.

Thanks for willing to test!

/Estel

// Edit

iDont, sorry if it's off-topic here. If you don't want this discussion to continue here - at least, before confirmation that it's really busybox-power related - just give a sign.

Ok, with the original busybox +kp49 + CSSU testing:
- sudo gainroot followed by reboot: no reboot, phone turns off at Nokia logo
- cmd-shortcuts 'sudo reboot': no reboot, phone turns off at Nokia logo

Bingo!

iDont, now we're counting @ You, cause despite it being confirmed, I have no idea what in busybox-power may be causing it.

Don't worry about it, I'd rather see lots of bugreports which may be premature, than none and miss something real

Huh, didn't don_falcone say that with the original BusyBox his phone doesn't reboot successfully? Or am I overlooking something?

I read his post in the same way, maybe Estel misread something. Lets wait don_falcone to confirm what is going on exactly.

i can understand that you guys are facing the reboot problem too

1-) this problem is not caused by busybox-power (i use the stock one after a reflash)

2-) the problem is caused by some change/add or delete some kind a module betwean KP v40 and KPv46 (not sure about 42)

hope this helps

Thanks to you too for testing with the stock BusyBox.

I just did some testing as well. Reboot doesn't reboot my device both with and without busybox-power installed; the device shuts down when the Nokia logo is being displayed (tested with KP49 + the second latest CSSU).

Yea, it was just epic fail on my side (dark side of comprehension force). Sorry for that
