Anyone experiencing playback/download issues again?
I'm unable to do either. Youtube vids won't stream and getting CTDs with Dailymotion.

Ahhh, fart and damnation!!!!

Just found out my version of qmltube is 1_3_1.
Sure I updated to the latest 1_3_3 when it was last updated, cos I've been using it since that one was released.

I use the version 1.3.2.
I want to download or watch video with dailymotion, that will always be crash.
I use the console open the qmltube, that is like this.
/opt/qmltube/bin $ ./qmltube
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
Segmentation fault

So the qmltube stop. that can't open any video.

You need to download and install 1_3_3. You can do that by clicking on the ubuntuone link in Garrett _PL's post above. You can do it straight from your N900 browser.

I've downloaded the 898kB .deb file, opened it, and installed using HAM. However, I am still seeing the download "failed to write" error. HAM shows 1.3.3 installed, but, strangely, during the HAM Update screen shows cutetube having 0kb.

Should I have uninstalled the previous version?

When You have .deb file on Your device already (so You installing by ''click'') in HAM You will see 0kB. You don't have to unistall previous version due to upgrade CuteTube, I installed it using Terminal (''dpkg -i path/to/file.deb''). You might try to install/reinstall CuteTube in the newest version using Terminal, much faster and You can see the errors ( if they occure) and progres during instalation.

I uninstalled the old version of CuteTube first, but then 1.3.3 (using dpkg) would not install due to a dependecy (ffmpeg) not being present. I the installed 1.3.2 from the repositories and then installed 1.3.3 (again with dpkg) after that. It finished this time. However, downloading still results in "failed to write". :-(

Yes. Actually, I did manage to download a video yesterday, but have not been able to repeat the success. The video did not show in CuteTube's archive afterwards until I restarted the application. Now it either fails to write or fails to convert (audio downloads); it's the same as before upgrading to 1.3.3.

In fact, CuteTube's failed to write seems to be messing up other things, too: after unsuccessfully trying to download in CuteTube, I cannot, for instance, take a picture with BlessN900 anymore (it shows the photo but it is nowhere to be found on the device afterwards).

Hi,

I am unable to search for videos via mobile network...but it works via Wifi, is there anyone else in the same situation ? I have cuteTube 1.3.3 and have a data plan with a French mobile provider named SFR.

Thanks,
