I got Sonic CD to work, and it's perfect. I'll add a picture because the procedure can be slightly confusing for .iso + .mp3 files (it is the same as PicoDrive PSP, that's why I had all things ready)

You need your iso and your mp3s in the same folder, and the file names must follow the pattern shown in the picture.

And I just made the bios folder with this scp client, and it all worked fine on the first time.

Oh, here, got a video of it too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcYpTrQXF9s (just uploaded, so might be still processing)

I just compiled a command line only version of Pico Drive for Diablo users. I can't test it since I don't have the hardware, but it should work.
In the attachment you'll find the executable file and a default configuration file. You should put them both in the same folder and execute picodrive from there. The configuration file is a standard text file you can edit to suit your needs.
Keys are configured according to the N900 keyboard scancodes. I don't know if these are compatible with older devices (I've been unable to find the N810's scancodes), so we'll probably need help here.
Attached Files
File Type: zip picodrive-1.2-diablo.zip (209.2 KB, 114 views)

Oh sweet fancy moses!

This has got to be one of the greatest days I've ever visited here at this forum!

Big time thanks, other Javis dude, for remembering those of us who still live in abject poverty.

It works like a dream.

Now to hit the scan codes later tonight then my life will be perfect. *lol*

Here's a screenie to show that it runs just fine on my N800. The only reason for the slightly reduced fps is because my screenshot grabber thingie chunked up the speed a little just before taking the picture.

You totally rocked my tablet with this!

Okay. Here are the scan codes for the N800.

Up 111
Down 116
Left 113
Right 114
- 74
Fullscreen 72
+ 73
Center Dpad 36
Escape 9
Menu 70
Task switcher 71

I'll try and look at other input possibilities tomorrow such as Xkbd.

Javis, if you ever do release another version for Diablo could you have an option to not show fps on the screen?

EDIT:
Also, could you have a command line option to disable sound alltogether as well?

Thanks.

It seems that using ctrl+backspace to return to the frontend/menu doesn't quite work properly as it leaves an unresponsive window open. It'll do it every time you ctrl+backspace and start a new window when you hit continue. Frozen windows need to be force quit.

Great work on the Emu.

I love it!

I have some problems with Sonic CD though..

I have the music files with same name as iso but there is no music in game? When I warped to another place music did start playing..

However starting another level again music was gone again..

Whats wrong?

I'm still having problems to get the Sega Cd working.
After following all the instructions, when I select the game it tries to run (screen turns black for less than a second) and then it makes the sound of closing, and comes back to the picodrive menu screen.
I have no clue of what is happening...
