This thread is getting awfully quiet. Never mind my last question, got it figured out...
But I feel like asking for the community repository, any news on that? Obviously there are ton's of fixes floating around the foums I just can't seem to manage to find the right ones. A centralised repo would make me feel warm and cosy...

It's ready, but HAM ignores updates outside of the official repos, ping me on freenode (MohammadAG51) and I'll reply with the channel name, you can use apt-get upgrade till I fix the GPG issues.

Thanks MohammadAG for your effort and dedication.

I would like to install the new version for your fix, but I don't have a clue about what freenode is, and much more abut those channels you talk about.

Is it possible that you provide a URL to download the package and then we install it manually, as you did for the very first version? Thank you, very much.

so if i have your old hildon version is it possible to update with xterm via apt-get upgrade?
i thought an apt-get upgrade would overwrite your hildon package?

Mohammad, thanks for the fix. Works great. Only thing I noticed is that you can't rearrange your menu items any longer through the long press option. Not sure if it's just me. Anyhow, still works great.

Thanks for the feedback F2. Just rebooted again (first time tried killall hildon-desktop) and now it oddly works.

hello folks.
i installed the super new hildon package 2.2.141 which seems to save battery life from this site:http://www.meego.de/forum/entwicklun...gen-fixes.html
they say mohammads fast kinetic scrolling in app menu is in the package too.
but i have the ols super slow and super boring scrolling.
so does anybody know which file i have to customize to get it back?
i have already looked at the transition.ini but cant find something clear.
thanks for your help
regards
