Now the sound works from the speakers so everything works fine.

Still no succes.... So took Pranksters advice: I uninstalled qtwrt and aptgetcleaned etc and then tried to reinstall it (xterminal) and got a bunch of error messages:
this:temporary failure resolving repository maemo.org
and this: could not resolve host downloads.maemo.nokia.com
weird...

okey lemme make it simple for ya ..
first dont play with x-terminal excessively except you know what you doing
now be sure that you really had cleaned up that qtwrt.
simply enable all repositories ))
go to x-terminal
type ...apt-get upgrade ( let it complete )
then
type ...apt-get update (let it complete )
then
type apt-get install qtwrt ( lt it process )
it should be fine ..if you knew how to install qtwrt then you better go with that way ))
now once you done with qtwrt..pick the latest version 0.2.6 and process it through HAM ..
if it doesnt work for ya then please post your log or screen shots so that we can help you .
