FYI someone had a tracking number and it was delivered... I'm not putting it online for people, to protect the privacy of the person... Not sure if it was his phone that got delivered. but this was the only package he/she was expecting on next day delivery!!!!

Can someone please bring me some good news today....I've sold my iPhone (hated it - it was rubbish at everything else except browsing internet, its a phone for 'numpties' - people with very low IQ) and also my Hero yesterday, feel limbless without a decent phone for browsing the net!

Please Nokia don't let me down....I've always had Nokia's as my main phones, since 1997!

This means, Nokia.de Online Shop will have it sooner, as they start exclusively shipping as the first shop in Germany.

Right I just spoke with Nokia (UK) they advised me that the device has officially been confirmed for the week commencing the 23rd. The adviser then asked if I was a Pre-order customer to which I replied "You damn right" he then said that I will defo be getting my device next week. I also asked if I will recieve the device on Monday or weather it will ship on Monday... He said he didn't know it depends on Nokia's systems (Maybe they have or are getting the devices today or tomorrow and they just need to allocate all stock to pre-orders)

I then rang the Nokia shop (Manchester,UK) and asked if they were getting the devices in today or tomorrow he replied with a very abrupt "end of the month sir end of the month"

no idea, only place ive seen inventory real time is shopblt

I would take anything they say, or Nokia with a BIG pinch of salt.

I just find it funny Nokia makes a huge press release and they don't come through

Before anyone says anything, I realise I got a bit shirty with the person, but my gripe with with MPD's lack of communication! And they aren't easy to get in touch with, the Live chat has been hit and miss for a while, the phone number just gets you to leave a message and they simply ignore the Enquiry Form!

And as said in my chat "We are trying to get a date before emailling everyone", is not an excuse. You'd have thought that by 2-3 days past their expected delivery date, someone would have thought, "Hmmmm, perhaps we should let the pre-order people know that there's a delay". Someone quoted that MPD had 500 pre-orders earlier in this thread, I doubt all 500 read these forums (or this thread) and I even doubt most will successfully contact MPD, and will be wondering where the hell there phone is! [/rant]
