I hate to say that, but the only KP revision where compcache "worked" for me (initialization of device ok, and no reboots) was the 20111006 build... maybe i just should write it off then.

Otherwise, if anyone can test SIP / Skype calls, that would be fine,

Guys, pali updated kernel-power settings for this release
If you're used to only grabbing flasher, kernel and modules, you may want to get settings this time to avoid reboots when setting 750MHz with older profile.

EDIT: after testing, SRVDD1 is no longer stable on my device. i'm not going to up voltages just for this. turned off SRVDD1., VDD2 is still =1.

SIP and Skype calls both work OK.

Also SR fix seems to work OK @ 850MHz (VDD1 and VDD2 = 1).
Active freqs: 500:30,360 850:49,600 (only 2 freqs in use)

So far, I haven't noticed any issues with SR enabled. Very positive thing! Before this caused immediately reset.

Seems some users still have problems with SR enabled. Luckily today I flashed my sister's n900 with latest KP and for my surprise as soon as I load dsp profile (which i thought is rock stable) her phone started with reboots. So now I can check what's wrong with SR on some phones. So I would ask you to hold promotion of KP49 to extras-devel for a while until I either found what is the problem or give up on fixing it. In case I am unable to fix SR unstability I think we will need a new kernel-power-settings with SR disabled by default.

...after a few minutes with the new build, while trying to play a little video, the usual message appears "unable to play...unknown format.."

With kp48 and the same voltages this issue is not present.

Also setting a lower limit of 125Mhz the kernel seems to ignore it and the lower used frequency is always 250.

Setting 250-805 the strange behavior is that the most used clock is 500 mhz....

i can deny em both..
first is due to underclocking.. it either jus gives that error.. or crashes and reboots on playing videos.. i had it too..
but when i used a custom format of dsp profile with 5 voltage less then the current and no changes, it works fine.. *not messing with the dsp per freq settings*
2nd is.. 125 works for me..
