My experience with Evernote on the N800 is that it completely didn't work for me, meaning that I couldn't run the program at all. I'll have to give it another try. Sure, I could send email to the evernote program, but that's about it, and that isn't enough.

I too think an offline-capable version of evernote -- especially with capability to link up with Xournal, say, for online HWR -- for the N800 would be awesome.
But then I think the Newton OS on a device like the N800 would be even more awesome (Einstein! but it doesn't sync...).

Personally, I wish for a good file viewer (Picsel Viewer, please!) before "another" note taker though
There's just a good amount of office files that I get from email, IM or web (corporate intranets) that the N800 cannot process elegantly. Namely formatted Word docs and powerpoint.
