I think you need some glasses: "......when plugs insert AND removal....." I am NOT talking about charging. And if you think spark does not corrupt "open file", you will need a herculus to hold onto the 1's and 0's of your data. Mind to share with us how many herculus you have hired? Now I'm just confused. Obviously there's a language barrier that's not being crossed (which glasses can't possibly help). I'm going to guess that you seem to think that a huge arc of energy is leaping out every time you plug in the barrel charger and zapping your data, which is wrong (and stupid). Other than that, I can't imagine.

Whether or not my post may have been rude, it was truth.

Well after one wsod I'm paranoid about switching off the device and only do so reluctantly.

When I do reboot I always get a little stressed when the logo flicks off to whitescreen at about 1/4 ways through the boot up process and feel relieved when the logo comes back up again .

Although that's probably a bit silly on my part because IIRC the logo never appeared when my last unit suffered its wsod.

fionn,know the feelin. just had mine returned after its wsod and am takin it very gingerly! always leave it on then just put the cover on to sleep and hope the bloody thing wakes up when his "duvet" comes off! feeling a bit paranoid about installing stuff just in case it returns!
