Did we even attempt to flash the device? If it's not turning on, could that be because it was left in a reboot loop until the battery ran out?

Can't flash it, the user has no windows PC and no knowledge of how to flash by other means.

I run the n800 with the os from internal memory then I mounted the os from the sd and got the two log that I've attached here....
Could someone help me to find a solution to solve the problem?

Then what do they have? Linux? OS X?
Unless they're running an Amiga machine, they can use any of the three major modern operating systems to flash.

Latest word now is that it won't even switch on, so it's going straight to the nearest repair centre on monday.
Thanks for the help though, the memory card suggestion was especially interesting.
