Yeah, I agree. No idea why, but the list keeps coming up empty when it should be showing URLs from the last session

I do find that the whole OS2008 feels slower than the beta version of OS2008 too.
Same here. When I click on the screen with either my finger or stylus, oftentimes it registers elsewhere. I reflashed, hoping that an error occured during installation. After the flash, I didn't notice it that much, but as I restored my programs the problem returned. I can't say for sure that there might be a program to blame, but if I decide to reflash, I'll install the programs one by one and see what happens.

I will certainly do that as this thread starts to fill up beyond the current list, or if someone could sticky this thread

Unless, if course, you managed to get it working again without using the centre button on the navigation pad...
I'm brand new here, just picked up an N800 a couple days ago. Loving it. But I only spent about 30 minutes with OS2007 before flashing to 2008, and immediately I started missing out on the finger/stylus differentiation when calling up a keyboard. I can use the d-pad button to do it, but it's slower and more annoying.

HOWEVER, just today I was poking around and somehow called up the finger keyboard without knowing how. So I spent some time fiddling and found out that you can call up the finger keyboard reliably just by tapping more forcefully than before. I'm not sure if it's the speed, force, or something like finger coverage over time, but it has fairly consistently made the finger keyboard work for me. Give it a try.

Can I add that the browser will sometimes auto-scroll down once I tap the down arrow, it "sticks" and I have to tap it again to stop it. Never had this prob with OS2006/OS2007.

After several weeks of frustration, 2 or 3 months ago, with sticky scrolling, freeze-ups, etc. after "upgrading" to OS2008 on my N800, I finally gave up and "downgraded" back to OS2007. I am happy again and use my N800 all the time. I won't touch OS2008 until they come out with a new version that fixes all these issues (which is way, way overdue, by the way).
