BTW, one thing I've noticed about flash drives is that the data rate is much slower when you're moving lots of small files, instead of a few big ones. I guess the overhead of opening and lcosing files is significant. Some of my Class 4 or 6 SD cards showed speeds under 1MB/s in my first tests, backing up folders full of stuff. When I tried copying a multi-hundred-MB video file, I saw speeds up around the advertised numbers.
