No kidding, briand.

Hey qwerty-- can you come to Texas and tutor my 15 year old in being more mature?

Really? Thanks

I wouldn't have thought so tbh with myself because my posts are rushed and my sentences can be odd sometimes :/

@Texrat

Sure! If you want your son/daughter to learn a range of swear words .

Well, maybe you should apply a filter to your communications with him:
Say, boss, I kept that noBounds project under my hat for two years; doncha think a fella oughtta get a asterisk-asterisk-asterisk-asterisking raise for that kind of loyalty?
Of course, I can't take any responsibility for possible outcomes if you do that; it's your *.

He's mentioned it at least once before, and got a similar reaction; it's true indeed. We need more 15-year olds like him around here.

I like the idea of a per user choice of whether to turn off the filter or not. It's weird I do cuss a bit at home but try to not cuss in public or in the workplace. Instead in public/work I use words like "Frack" (yes I'm a Battlestar nut) or Zut Alor (cussing in french doesn't really sound like cussing at all :P )

work in radio for a bit -- that'll either quickly cure you of the habit, or quickly cure you of working in radio.

I *mostly* agree with you, but as there are many heated debates here and I would hate for them to degrade into a string of profanities as opposed to the name calling we already have.

That sort of thing is only available at the network level, or very very large radio stations. Certainly not available at any station I've worked at (and I've worked in radio at a few top 50 market stations).
