Agreed on the other changes taking very little time. I'm however concerned with sqlite3 (but discussion about this will be in the tracker for this feature request....)

Edit: OK, I've just seen your comment on the tracker about sqlite3. Glad that we are coming to the same conclusion

I'll have a look at this issue. If there's really a problem, it should be on Erminig side I think.
Is this bug easily repeatable, with a determined set of manipulations, or is it completely random?

thanks

It has happened three times. I was thinking about actions and the only thing I can really say is that I close the app immediately after syncing from the gui, and maybe for some reason the sync isn't completely closed out yet and it cause the error.

I only have this problem now with Omweather(OMW) installed....as soon as I click on OMW everything goes away (personal Menu, etc) however, once OMW is removed everything seems to be EXCELLENT now...

Hmmm, I don't think that this is related to combatdoc's problem...but who knows...

@combatdoc: I've tried to pound away on Erminig to reproduce the problem, without success for the moment I will try some more today...

Thanks. I'll report back any further as soon as I get it working again.

Seems python-gtk2 2.12-osso3 doesn't include gtk.glade right now, so I need to go find a way to downgrade or fix it somehow.

I found out a little more infor on the missing gtk.glade in this thread.

Glade was being depreciated in favor of Gtk.Builder. I switched on app to it and it's not that hard to do.
If gtk.glade is depreciated it might be worth looking nto GTK.Builder for the future.

Good to know that gtk.glade will be depreciated in the future! I'll look at converting Erminig to GTK.Builder. Is everything already in place in the standard distribution in order to use gtk.builder? Or are there any additional dependencies?

Gtk.Builder is already in the gtk package from what I gathered, so nothing new to add.

OK, I managed to reproduce this bug. It has been added to the bug tracker as #2660.

I'll look into a fix, which will very likely be into 0.3.2 (there's already an upcoming 0.3.1 which won't bring any new features: its main goal is the integration of Erminig into the extras repository, for more simple upgrades)

Thank you very much for pointing out this issue!
