I've used the beta9 for quite a while. I had problems with coverart front the start - when running the tuning plugin, it looks for coverart and when it is finished, it has added about 80% of my albums (with coverart). There should be no difference in the albums - all are within own folders with id3 image + folder.jpg in each folder.

El Amir - canola uses its own database, so cover arts has to be added to the internal database (doesn't automatically extract from id3 or use image in folder). There is a tuning plugin to canola
- install it
- start canola - go to settings
- press media library
- press cover arts and thumbnails
- press update cover arts
- select where you want canola to search
- wait.....

Hi Truejornal : it's not a quick fix, it was actually a hurry one but we tried to test everything against out test case.
The problem seems to be the most users had tried installing the Canola for chinook then placed diablo version on top without cleanup, what maybe causing some conflicts.

the goal for beta 10 is to have this risks reduced, and we are going to ask a full cleanup before installing it

I have the same problem. I uninstalling canola and all its plugins, removed /home/user/.canola and /home/user/.thumbnails/canola , reinstalled canola + plugs and nothing changed. I see blank album covers using Cover Art. I can't edit or change any of them.
I was also playing ogg files just fine under diablo, but now my ogg music collection isn't seen anymore

No luck with a clean reinstall either, problem continues - no small cover art but large cover art works fine. If I manually save a small cover file in the albums cover directory it shows up in the cover art selector and in the album view. Seems to be a problem with canola doing a resize of the cover art file the tuning plugin grabs. Doesn't matter which source I use or if I do all covers at once or one at a time.

So I copied my /home/user/.canola directory from my chinook install into my diablo install... and wouldn't you know it..... my OGG files are playing again :-) I still have the cover art issues though, but then again I always had some sort of cover art issues with canola2.

I also made a fresh install, but I have the problem.

n800 with two 8gb SDHC cards. My library is distributed on those 2 cards.

Just another 'me too' here, on a n800 with a clean Diablo install (didn't even restore a backup). I do have mogg installed until ogg-support for Diablo out.

Cheers
