Okei, my upgrade get corrupted. How can it be repaired other way than reflashing the whole system? I don't know how it can be corrupted but that's what it says in Application Manager.

Markku: Can you describe how your upgrade is corrupted?

You should be able to fix by running (you need sudo) on xterm:
sudo gainroot
apt-get upgrade

At the end of installation there is a message that announces a reboot is required, then the screen fills up of pseudo-random black spots until it becomes blank. Then nothing seems to happen. I had to press power button to make the tablet restart, then it booted and all was ok

I didn't have any of the problems listed above, not corrupt, rebooted just fine (on the charger). I can confirm that it removes the dual boot menu. I haven't reinstalled the dual boot yet till I hear it's safe. [edit from below the old boot menu flasher doesn't work, but has been updated.]

It may be unrelated but I had been unable to install the unrar and unzip updates, but they installed fine after system update.

I think so... How do you connect to Internet? If you are tethering via cellphone the SSU updates will not show up, AFAIK.

By default it does, but it can be disabled. I can't find where it's enabled/disabled at the moment.

To manually check for updates open application manager, check for updates.

I only get the map update, nothing more in application
manager - check for updates. apt-get update lists nothing, apt-get upgrade lists 85 packages.

Anybody can explain why I dont get the ssu update
in application manager?

I have a repo called Nokua System Software Updates listed in catalogues.

thanks

Mikael
