Ok, got an idea while I was out at my dad's today that I think would be a good application. Since the n810 has a light sensor on it, why not have it setup so that it changes the screen brightness based on the available light. In other words, the darker the room, the lower the light, the brighter the room (or outdoors) the brighter the screen.
