I see that too unless I set the default light meter to the minimum, at which point AB has complete control of the level.

Oh, that's interesting. I didn't know that setting the meter to minimum would do that. I'll have to check that out.

the light sensor on n810 is evil.
as a leftie my hand covers that corner of the screen extremely often leading to a regular change in the screen brightness.
i added a hardhack to rectify:

a little sticker covering the sensor (brought back from jacob after school)

In case you are not aware of another such idea that plays with the light sensor - here it is ... this app locks the N810 when you cover the Light sensor (like when you slide the N810 into its cover). Great app.
