@ f(x) - Those links are much better, thank you!!! The language and library references are an obvious selection in a logical location that I completely overlooked. I went browsing in them and a lot of it went whooshing over my head, but for the items I've learned so far, I got a deeper understanding.
The "learn Python in 10 minutes" (yeah, right! ) while terse, is great as quite a bit of it makes sense and identifies areas which I need to study further (data types, functions).

@Capt'n - Still interested in hearing from more from you. Did your comment suggest that I need to learn proper UML design and implementation, or coding standards/styles, or just the usual school of hard knocks, don't do it that way, need experience issues?
