There's a button on the touchscreen, over the green "Accept call" button, on the left.

Oh, you see, that's the trick, we are wondering about hardware button (that could be accessible without taking the phone out from the casing) in this thread

Nice to see that some gets it and that I am not the only one interested.

If there is not such way to silence the ringer with a hardware button, making a button do that will be a good project for someone. A lot of cases have an opening at the bottom of the case. That would make the power button easily accessible. I decided to purchase this case for now, just to have something when the device arrives.

It seems that placing the device upside down will allow me easy access to the power button and to the phone jack.

If the power button cannot be used for this, maybe someone can make the button next to the phone jack do this. I will have to get another case, but that is OK.

Out of interest, do you want to just silence the ringer but let it continue to "ring" silently to give you a chance to take out the device and decide whether to take the call, or to reject the call?

I.

I'm tryng now call myself.

When the phone is ringing you can:

1) Push the monitor icon to silence the phone. But this is not ad harware button
2) Push the Power button and then with the monitor chouse a silence profile ( so you use ad hardware button and a monitor function )
3) If you Push down the ringtone volume ... nothing appends. The ringtone volume doesn't change.
4) If you push the other harware button ( like the hold on button, and the camera botton ) ... nothing appends.

Thant's it

That's it.

Yes, or to let the phone continue to ring silently until the caller is directed to leave a message.
