There is no phone book being transferred to the Logic 7 car audio.

The issue is that the N900 uses obex data exchange which is missing the PBAP bluetooth profile. PBAP is the standard for phone book synchronisation between bluetooth capable devices. Almost the entire car industry uses it including the aftermarket manufacturers with their head units.
I found out very same thing with my 2008 BMW M3/Prof Navi. Pairing/answering calls was fine and I could actually set up a few quick select numbers (totally manually) to the "generic shortcuts" of my BMWs computer.

This was one of the reasons (this + lack of profiles/caller grps/caller specific tones) I went back to using Symbian/N97 Mini. Loved the N900 UI/Browser/platform. I hope this + other phone-functionality limitations are fixed so I can get back to using Maemo again. Changing to Ford is really no option to me

I have MB C-series 2009 and my N900 Works fine with bluetooth and I can load phonenumbers one by one with bluetooth to MB and use both displays in speedmeter and radiounit.

So I can call and when the call coms I can see the caller name and the car restores called numbers in memory so Ican see those and use those also.
