Are the Standard apps OPTIFIED ?
If not, having a way to move them to OPT might at least help the ROOTFS capacity issue.

before that, i had some "happy" experiences having multiple browsers think it was default, and different programs would open different browsers depending on the time of day, year, tide and celestial alignments.
and even now, one ever so often bump into software that have IE hardcoded as default browser for any urls...
Be warned, posts are often line of thoughts at highway speeds...
