You know ppl these days use paypal to support what they really like ...
By all means I feel we should support developers who put in time to work on an app and put it out for free. But just like paid software I will support with my $ any project that I think is well done. The motivation for many developers is passion, How can I make this really cool, How can I push it. At least make it standard so it fit in and integrate well with the platform. I always use Thomas Perl of the Gpodder fame as a classic example of a developer who gets it right. He and many others like him would get my $ any day

This application was directly ported without any optimization. Some menu is not readable. It is hard to use without stylus......

I tried to create a new gui for KeepassX but it's pretty hard. The Qt creator support for fremantle is pretty limited. Without that, it's no doable for me to create a good interface. See some of my frustrations here:

Nokia should release a new Qt creator!

Exec=keepassx /home/user/MyDocs/Database.kdb

You need to be root to modify that file, open up an X Terminal then type:

Code:
sudo gainroot
mc

@Robbie:

Is there a desktop version of pySafe?

I really would like to be able to open and edit the database on both the N900 and the Linux Desktop. All other features are just extra (but welcome), for me...

Thanks

I'm not sure. I only created the exporter for windows. There is another password app that uses same database on desktop and n900. It's called PasswordSafe.
