Sorry, I was wrong. I didn't downloaded 7zip from an italian site, I've just read on that site the name of the repository where I've downloaded it. Maybe I can give that repository's datas, what do you think?

By the way, have you experienced those crashes sending comments to Maemo.org? I've filed a bug for that problem, if so please vote for it:

Thanks a lot

Its really good to see there are others out there who are happy with their devices. I've had a couple of niggles - no restarts yet, but the odd crashed browser. Nothing I wouldn't expect any electronical device to occasionally do though!

I must say that now 7zip has come up, I would be really interested to get the repo information. If you're happy to post, just do so with the usual disclaimer that goes with the extras-devel repo. We know the risks. Although, I find xarxhiver to be quite a good frontend gui for handling zip and rar. I think that came from exrtas-devel...

Re. MSN Messenger - what about pidgin? Works fine for me with MSN..

Flash 10 I completely agree with though - is it likely we'l get it? I'm jealous of the Nexus One in that regard...

Optified python was a godsend - last OTA wouldn't have worked without seeing that. Can't believe how root-hungry the previous version was!

I've just created a thread for not going OT in this one with 7zip.

one reboot and couple extra minutes to delete some problematic devel software...also im getting suspicious about my stylus and that it might damage my screen.

Overall more that happy with the product and gotta say that maby the best 600€ spent this far. Best part is that there is still so much potential on n900 to be released all i have to do is wait and see.

couple hours more uptime would be nice, so i can leave my usb cable home on workdays. Need it rarely but sometimes when using 3g 1-2h for downloading stuff and workplace is on very bad 2g/3g coverage field so reseption goes up and down like a rollercoaster all day.
