And how was this wrong to be in General? Cripes, guys, it's Nokia. This is easily a General topic. Sheesh this is getting old.

Here's the quarterly report:

http://www.nokia.com/about-nokia/fin...mation/q4-2009

N900 is mentioned only as a device that started shipping - no numbers were published. The closest to a breakdown would be (I can't get the report to line up, the first two numbers are net sales in billions of euros, the second two numbers are average sales price in euros):

DEVICES & SERVICES NET SALES AND ASP BY OPERATING MODE
Net sales, EUR billion ASP, EUR
Q4/2009 Q3/2009 Q4/2009 Q3/2009
Mobile phones 4.3 3.8 40 41
Converged devices 3.9 3.1 186 190
Total 8.2 6.9

Mobile = Series 30 and Series 40-powered devices ranging from basic mobile phones focused on voice capability to devices with a number of additional functionalities, such as Internet connectivity, including the services and accessories sold with them.

Converged = Smartphones and mobile computers, including the services and accessories sold with them.

We're NOW off topic () but that's a consequence of the thread being located wrong.

Scan this section and note the sheer number of Nokia, N900 and related threads. It's insane. No wonder people say they're confused here.

On topic: go NOK stock!

Here's the answer to Maemo tablet question from Seekingalpha.com transcript. Propably better for people interested about the matter than my quick notes with bad English.

"Of course, the high-end investment is happening as we speak, both when it comes to Symbian and also when it comes to Linux or Mimo. So there is nothing new. And there is no need to ramp up anything new. The investment is happening. So in that way, I believe it’s definitely adequate.

When it comes to the tablets and products like that, we did explore and are exploring as we speak with the Nokia booklet has capped and tremendous response in the market place. Of course, it’s more like exploring as opposed to do a product that will become the market leader. But I think that experience that we have gotten there, the traction we are getting, the understanding that we can deliver in different type of home factors to make us really look at the overall tablet markets and different types of converged devices between the mobile phone and the PC as these two industries start to merge anyhow. So you will see more in this space going forward without making any product announcements here.
"

Ps. Mimo is how Seekingalpha spells Maemo.
