Important also to note you can load up an ftp client and just plain old ftp stuff around.

As tuxer and bratag have pointed out if you want to send any file you can use Petrovich - it's in the standard extras repository.

petrovich is the only app that extending the capability right now.

I use it to send files and anything else

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I would like to inform that video call already works with Gtalk, albeit in a limited form. Read this thread for details.

You can video talk with GTalk already and have been able to since the N900 was released.

You can use a combination of Petrovich & the Pixelpipe plug-in for Nokia Share to upload basically any type of file to over 100 services or even your personal FTP server

İf they add the ''Share'' option to the Media Player I'd already be happy...
