I like the concept however, the quality of the picture is very blurry. How quickly do you pan your camera? Would be eager to try the higher res version to utilize the full capability of 5M.

not sure what speed should be used but did it quite slow coz the slower will be more shaky nwz very impressed though its just trial and supports only vga resolution..

Pretty neat app. I'm not sure about the promise of a full res. version in the future. It seems to me that capturing viewfinder mode frames and taking full res. images would have an impact on the capture performance.

Here's hoping, though!

Good app, but it's too far from the symbian apps (panoman for example) quality, for example image parts are not leveled to the same, and pictures could be more than 360°.

I hope the full version will fix these problems, and this one is just a nice demo one.

An example I took attached.

It works all right, emphasis on the words 'all right' though... It's certainly a beta and not something they could possibly charge for.

Good to see some commercial interest though in the platform. Hopefully someone who's been working on the app could make an appearance here and explain their plans?

For the record I'd pay 'app prices' (99p?) for this if it was both full resolution and worked properly.

Just wanted to add that I believe the "limit" of 640x480 is because the application is accessing the camera using the video camera api and thus the resolution (and quality) is limited. I'd estimate that to get full 5mp on the panorama they'd have to completely recode and rework the application.

That said it's still a good proof of concept.

I Like the app!
But I alway get these vertikal stipes. Don't know if it depends on how fast I move my camera. Maybe it's just my trembling hands in the cold snow
